{"id":150,"date":"2017-12-20T13:38:56","date_gmt":"2017-12-20T13:38:56","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.thestoneco.co.uk\/?p=150"},"modified":"2017-12-20T13:43:52","modified_gmt":"2017-12-20T13:43:52","slug":"charity-pajama-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.thestoneco.co.uk\/?p=150","title":{"rendered":"Charity Pyjama Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rarely does anyone get to come to work in their pyjamas.\u00a0 We gave our team a chance to do exactly that while raising money for a great cause.<\/p>\n<p>On Friday 15th December we dressed up in nightwear, Christmas jumpers\u00a0 and silly hats all in aid of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sickchildrenstrust.org\/About_us\/index.html\">The Sick Children&#8217;s Trust<\/a>.\u00a0The Sick Children&#8217;s Trust believes keeping families together significantly improves the recovery of seriously ill children. They provide free, high-quality \u2018Home from Home\u2019 accommodation, as well as emotional and practical support, to families with sick children in hospital in the UK.<\/p>\n<p>The Sick Children\u2019s Trust was founded in 1982 by two paediatric specialists, Dr Jon Pritchard and Professor James Malpas, who believed that having parents on hand during hospital treatment benefited a child&#8217;s recovery.
